Brevard County Personal Injury Attorney
A Brevard native, Sam Henderson was born and raised in the city of Rockledge. He graduated from Cocoa High School and received his undergraduate degree in Accounting from the University of South Florida.
He then attended law school at the University of Florida. After graduation from law school, Sam was employed as an Assistant State Attorney in St. Petersburg, Florida. In 1980, he moved back to Brevard County and began his private practice in Melbourne, FL.
Areas of Practice
Since opening his private practice, Sam has been engaged in the representation of many Brevard County residents in the areas of workers' compensation, personal injury, wrongful death, and family law matters. As a Brevard County lawyer at Henderson & Futchko, P.A., he is relentless when it comes to protecting the rights of his clients.
One of Sam's unique areas of practice is in military benefits rights. Brevard's large military population creates a lot of circumstances where retirement benefits, medical benefits-or sometimes both-require protection or adjustment. Sam's knowledge in this area of law has attracted clients from as far away as Germany.
Areas of Interest
Currently a South Merritt Island resident, Sam has been active in Little League coaching, umpiring, and overlooking all the aspects that make running a program such as Little League possible. He has also been very active in Brevard's community theater and has performed on stage at the Cocoa Village Playhouse in many productions over the years. These productions include "A Christmas Carol," "Sweeney Todd" and "Don Quixote."
