Sam Henderson
Native Son of Brevard
Sam is a Brevard native born and raised in the City of Rockledge. He graduated from Cocoa High School and received his undergraduate degree in Accounting from the University of South Florida. He then attended law school at the University of Florida. After graduation from law school, Sam was employed as an Assistant State Attorney in St. Petersburg, Florida. In 1980, he moved back to Brevard County and entered private practice.
Areas of Practice
Since that time, Sam has been engaged in the representation of
many Brevard County residents in areas of workers compensation, personal injury and wrongful death, and family law matters.
One of Sam's unique areas of practice is in military benefits rights. Brevard's large military population creates a lot of circumstances where retirement benefits, medical benefits or sometimes both require protection or adjustments. Sam's expertise in this area of law has attracted clients from as far away as Germany.
Areas of Interest
Currently a South Merritt Island resident, Sam has been active in
Little League coaching, umpiring and all the things that it takes to
make a program such as Little League run. He has also been very
active in Brevard's community theater and performing on stage at
the Cocoa Village Playhouse in many productions over the years.
These productions include A Christmas Carol, Sweeney Todd and
Don Quixote.
